I think if you ask people in Gaza who their biggest problem is right now and who they need to be ‘freed’ from they wouldn’t say it’s Hamas, and I deplore Hamas. This is an absurdity. What would it take for Germans to admit that Israel is now dangerously millitant, far right and actively committing war crimes? You don’t have to excuse Hamas to point it out.

You would think a country with a history like Germany would be more alert and aware of some of the dangerous trends we’ve seen in Israel in terms of rhetoric and now actions.
