I got the email that Wise’s account info was changing behind the scenes and am a bit confused, hoping another maple ape has it sorted so i can keep direct buying.

When I go to my wise account and look up the details I get something that says “Receive from a bank outside the US” with a routing number, SWIFT code and account number. My understanding is that this could be what I use should i ever sell a share and want my tendies in fiat sent to my Canadian bank.

There’s also a different routing and account number if I want to set up a direct debit for a business in the US.

So I would think that I should give computershare the one to set up a direct debit, and that’s the one I have always had in there and it doesn’t seem to have changed, only the account/routing info for accepting funds into the wise account seems to have changed.

So has anyone else had to swap their wise account info when making a direct purchase, or do others also have the same direct account info and it was only the info for getting a wire transfer FROM wise that has changed?

The odd bit is that last time i did a direct buy i got an email from computershare saying i had used the old account and it would be changing, which contradicts having the same info in my direct debit account info from before the “change” so I am confused.

I had some friction with Computershare previously so I am trying to make sure I don’t mess any of this up, so any advice on this is appreciated, thanks!
