However I recently saw the story as I am very out of touch.

I have been watching Days of YT vids now, from almost every creator that was involved directly or indirectly.

Now before you jump the gun, Yes AOL Mail Domain was active in 2006. However here is why i seriously doubt the emails as genuine… I remember 56K dial-up, and that stupid “Welcome, You’ve Got Mail!” (yes Pre 90’s baby. lol) but I seriously doubt 2 young girls in middle school, who met on “Stardoll” (doll dress up browser game from the 90’s) had their own email accounts on AOL. This is Possible, but in 2006 the top Domains where Yahoo and Hotmail []

Now if a young person was allowed to have their own email, I doubt around 2006 AOL would be the go to choice. Also, A much more common practice was Parents Would Use their own email to sign up their children on sites such as Stardoll or Neopets. Now It is true that when the Amy E-mails where shown, Creepshow used editing to hide her own email address at the time, but not Amy/Stephanie!? why hide your own email but not theirs? but that is not the point.

Now I’m not sure Why no one thought to do a “Lookup” on that domain name, or maybe they did and chose not to out the lie, well I will! found 2 things…(top site is the lookup, bottom site is a google search yielding this as the ONLY PAGE RESULT on google< and that is RARE) found this in less than 2 minutes, how did no one else??? []

looking a bit further you will find that Catherine is listed in public records and Related to “Jem”, but no mention of a shannon anywhere in that report at least…
