I am planning to move to Newcastle next year on a Youth Mobility visa and I have a few questions about Newcastle

Is Newcastle safe? More specifically if I was walking around Gosforth alone at night would I be safe?

Is Newcastle a car city? Will I need a car or is it possible to rely on public transport?

What is the job market currently like? Is it very difficult to get a job? I’ve set up Indeed notifications and see there are suitable jobs advertised but I don’t know how willing employers are to accept people on a working holiday visa? I will have enough savings for rent in advance but I would like a job to meet people and make friends

Are Geordies actually as friendly as Google claims? Besides being a huge NUFC fan, the friendliness of Geordies is one of my top pro’s about moving to Newcastle
