The former City Limits/ICE Nightclub on Tanque Verde. It looks like a nice place to have an Event…

However, for 5 years, I drove past The Event every night on the way home from work. I saw people there a grand total of literally ONE single time. Every time my SO was in the car and we would pass it, I would say “hey, do you think there is an EVENT tonight???”… and laugh at my own stale joke and he would roll his eyes, and there never was an Event.

To be fair, I changed jobs in 2020 so I rarely drive by it anymore, but I would be pleasantly surprised if much has changed.

Someone commented on Google Reviews that the place was looking rundown and the owner (?) wrote a lengthy, unhinged response to this person and threatened litigation (I’m honestly slightly nervous even making this post, despite the thin shroud of anonymity here on Reddit).

The same vintage car has been parked on the side for years and years.

I think there was a ghost kitchen or caterer operating out of there for a minute.

So what’s the deal? Has anyone ever attended an Event at the Event?

Is it taxes? Money laundering? A club for literal ghosts? Or maybe I am just never made aware of/invited to any Events…
