I grew up in England, I’m an extremely passionate Barnsley FC supporter (currently in League One, we’ll be back I swear…) moved to NZ at 16, although never felt any connection with the Phoenix. Moved to Townsville just after the Fury went out - I watched them as my parents were already in Townsville but then that happened. Since then I haven’t really watched A League - just Barnsley. But lately I’ve been feeling like I need to start watching but have NO idea who. Being a very very passionate NRL supporter, Cowboys of course, I kinda don’t like Brisbane, but also they’re the closes so maybe. NSW teams are off, go QLD, and Victoria always felt a bit…well ‘Melbourne’ and also no connection. That leaves, what, Adelaide?? But it’s so far away.
