Seriously, this modpack is pure gold. After finishing my first overhaul mod, Krastorio 2, i’ve played so many mods/modpacks but none of them scratched that itch that Factorio brings. Most of them were just too boring/overwhelming to me.

But Freight Fowarding was just amazing and fun. Perfectly balanced between vanilla and overhaul. We start with mini trains, go to ships and eventually electric trains and flying aircrafts. I’ve always felt that in my train worlds the ore patches were too close and I wasn’t building outposts as much I wanted, but in this modpack the starting island only have iron, copper, stone and lead (from bz lead) and we need to extract offshore oil with ships. And to get other ores it’s necessary to go to other islands, so a lot of trains and ships are necessary.

TL;DR: Try it, very good :)
