    You don’t need to do the work on your own. Just be brave enough one day to ask for help. It all gets better after that.

        I’ve asked for help so many times. “Good luck with that” is all I got. I stopped asking. All that did was make people think I’m pathetic.

      In the end it’s still down to you to put in the work. Even if you have a therapist to assign homework and give instructions.

    For anyone else struggling with this, what helped me the most was sprinkling motivational/uplifting music into my music playlist. It’s a constant reminder to work on my mental health and helps with the consistency aspect thats so hard to keep up with otherwise. Fearless Motivation makes some good motivational songs.

    I loved for Pingu when I was a kid, was one of the only shows I refused to miss. I’m pretty sure my inability to react in a normal way is due to me obsessing over him.

    I decided to take up embroidery recently because I heard needle work was really good for people with suicidal ideation and ruminations. It’s something that reliably puts me in my happy place.
