Nacht Der Untoten : Ray gun, Panzer and Molotov will one shot you no matter what as soon as you’re inside the huge blast radius
Verrückt : same
Shi No Numa : Ray gun, Panzer and Molotov will one shot you without jugg, haven’t tried with jugg yet.
Der Riese : Ray gun will only one shot you without jugg and Panzer / Molotov will NEVER one shot you even without jugg.
What a mess. It’s only on Der Riese that they understood that instantly dying from the molotov you threw 5m away bc your toes are inside the blast radius wasn’t fun, so they fixed it
As someone else pointed out, indeed on Verrückt Juggernog perk isn’t really jugg, it doesn’t boost your helath but makes your regen so fast that you feel like it (hence why in verruckt with jugg a single zombie simply cannot kill you by himself). And apparently someone said that it’s only in shi no and der riese that jugg protects from explosive damage but idk if that’s the case, anyone has a source to back up this ?

I’m playing a lot of WaW verruckt recently and i couldn’t help but notice that even with Juggernog if you are even just 0.01m inside the blast radius of the molotov or Panzerschreck you will instantly die.
I can’t count how many times (while full health and with jug) i literally one shotted myself bc i shot just a tiny bit too close to myself with the ray gun, or the molotov exploded 4 meters from me and it instantly downed me…
Anyway i’ve been looking online but can’t find people talking about it. Is it normal that the raygun will instantly down you even with jug? The Panzerschreck and basically anything that deal even the slightest explosive damage ? When i was playing it on PS3 back in the day i don’t remember explosions being so dangerous
edit : and I know lots of old games had the absolute braindead idea to tie the engine with framerate so they will do weird shit when running at 144fps, lots of games have damage or physics tied to framerate so it breaks as soon as you go above 60
