I thought I would post this just so people know. I work on checkout at The Warehouse and we were told last week that this is happening. My store alone has already dealt with more than a handful of horrendous customers regarding some of our current deals in the last week.

By the end of the month, The Warehouse is moving to having their specials/deals to be marketclub only.

If you don’t know what this is, it’s like Countdowns onecard and the New World clubcard but on The Warehouse phone app. You scan the qr code on your phone as you go through checkout.

Please please please for the love of god tell everyone you can, especially the old people, to get marketclub or be aware that the deals are marketclub only. I’ve only worked 4 days in the last week and I’m already over the difficult customers. Stop taking it out on us! I just work there!

What about people that don’t have phones or can’t download The Warehouse app? Good question! You won’t be getting the specials.

The end of the year is coming up and I’m tired, everyone’s tired and grumpy. Please don’t take it out on the people that have to work on checkout.
