NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBC, GBA, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, OG Xbox, Xbox 360, PSP, AND PS Vita have all been put in their boxes, their games ripped to a 4TB external HDD, and stored in totes. The only reason my switch didn’t join them was so I can continue to dump games as they come out.

My gaming PC was sold, and I downgraded my Series X to the new 1TB Series S. AND My Series S RARELY gets used as a stand alone. Because the only games I have on it are games I don’t want to/can’t install locally on my deck. I.E. Destiny 2, Starfield, Forza, Call Of Duty, etc. Why? Because then I can use greenlight to stream my xbox to my deck. So it’s more of a way to stream current AAA games on my deck with awesome performance.

My steam deck has literally replaced every piece of physical gaming hardware/software I’ve owned in the entirety of my life. And sure, other consoles could’ve done this as well. But after trying several, NONE of them match the deck for me personally. Not the Aya Neo, the Odin, The ROG, none of them. Anyone else had a similar experience where the Steam Deck took over their life as their daily driver? Both in gaming and computing
