I love the deep simulation and 4x aspect of games. My all time favorite games are Stellaris and Civ 4 and 6. That being said after 40 hours spent in Cities Skyline 2, this game has not much to offer on this front. It just feel weird, awkward and overall just too easy, almost nothing makes sense simulation wise. Hopefully they will fix all these simulation systems working together and offer some challenges in a fun way other than build 10 more elementary schools. However I find myself enjoying a lot more the city painter side of things. I find myself perfecting a neighborhood and hours fly by without me realizing it. What are your thoughts and experience?
