- That government has a history of oppressing Palestinians.
- That is bad.
- That also has nothing to do with them being Jewish.
- Gaza’s de facto leadership is a terrorist organization called Hamas.
- Hamas intentionally targeted innocent civilian Israelis for slaughter.
- That is bad.
- That also has nothing to do with them being Muslim.
- Israel’s government is retaliating by essentially leveling Gaza and causing a humanitarian catastrophe.
- That is bad.
- Hamas is responding by using hospitals as bases of operation and taking hostages to use as human shields.
- That is bad.
- The whole thing is a complicated clusterfuck, with civilians on both sides suffering the worst of it.
