      At least this one has a pretty nice message. If all you read on the internet every day is doom and gloom then a being reminded that finding something to give a shit about can make life good is no bad thing!

      You can tell the fake ones because they have no replies. The original writer just posts their story on /b/ or /r9k/ and takes a screenshot for reddit/lemmy/twitter before the thread dies

    Plan B: get a good education and well paid job so you can afford vacations and underwater camera gear so you can take photographs of wild shrimps like this one I took in Croatia (female with eggs, btw):

    TL;DR: shrimps are cool!

    Fake and gay, but my mental health did improve dramatically when I started fishkeeping. Cant kill myself, who would feed the corydoras?
