I have a Christmas present idea i need help with and wondering if you can assist.
So, my SO is trying to get into customizing a mechanical keyboard apparently. I don’t want to buy them another fully made keyboard cause I got them a brown switch keyboard last year and this started all of this.

So, i thought of an idea of something to buy for them for Christmas that can be a little fun experience and help them out. Is there such a thing as like just a little mini board that can be used to test switches and also be plugged in and used as like a numpad during and after?

I want it to be useful and also a little more fun than just the test switches in like a little plastic sleeve, maybe a cool way to use the favorite unbought switch varieties.

I found like a couple programmable mini boards on etsy and stuff I think might work, I can’t tell if they are swappable key caps or switches and they look pretty incomplete or very like base board and was wondering if you guys and gals knew of anything?
