    This may be apocryphal, so take it with a generous pinch of salt. What I was told is that in a marathon, a runner crossdressing as Shimakaze either placed high or won some sort of award. And as a result a number Japanese fans came to the conclusion that “Yeah, only a crossdresser would dress that slutty.”
