If people like you dominate the political discussions in your country, then I can say for sure that your country has gone down the drain, because all levels of civil conversation have disappeared if you immediately get pushed a label onto you, where the intention is to demonize the person or a group of persons, and any other continuation of the conversation ends in more demonizing and insults. For sure, this is regardless of who’s in power or whether I’m a liberal, left or right. (For the record, I’m consistently more of a centrist in European political terms)
