I think the classic answers are likely to be Bluee and Duggee, with maybe a special shout-out to an old classic like Ballamory. However, for my money I don’t think you can top the masterpiece that Is…

Waffle the Wonder Dog. Great theme tune, adorable kids, occasionally funny neighbour and parents who don’t have it so together that you feel bad about yourself, perfect.

What about you?

*The theme tune to Charlie and Lola is also top-tier

    Bluey (funny for everyone)

    Sarah and Duck (epic chill)

Grace’s Amazing Machines (music by The Darkness, and machines)

    All tied, for different reasons.

Honorable mention to Numberblocks, which I can’t stand, but has my about-to-start-schooler telling me number sentences when he should be going to sleep, A+.

Bluey is excellent and deserves the praise.

Duggee is terrible and I don’t get it at all.

My lad has had absurd mileage out of Numberblocks. For my tastes it’s a bit uneven, but there are some good episodes in there with some genuine humour and wit. Never had much joy with Alphablocks or Colourblocks though.

JoJo & Gran Gran has its moments, but can be a little plodding.

Apple Tree House is a little preachy, but very even quality (and one of the very few fully live-action things on there these days, which makes a nice change).

Peppa Pig can get in the sea.

Genuinely really enjoy the vibe of JoJo and Gran-Gran. And the theme tune is great.

Not sure if this is accurate but I believe it aired during COVID, and whenever I hear it I get transported back to that time.

Depends what you (or you kid) want out of it I suppose. Personally, mine was obsessed with Baby Jake but I found it creepy as hell. Mr Tumble is great content-wise but a bit jump-cutty; same issue with Colour Blocks. We’re actually watching old episodes of Rosie & Jim on YouTube at the moment which is lovely and calm.

Duggee, Bing and Pepper can all get in the bin.

Bing and pepper agreed, but no duggee? Bing is quite whingey and Peppa is quite rude which both put me off. But I don’t mind a bit of duggee.
