CanI set a filter on my account to ignore these prolific bastards until they have attained certain age or number of responses that exceed the AI 's smarmy word count?
Yes. Censorship - or lack thereof rather - isn’t a moral imperative. We are not the government. If we weren’t supposed to block, ban, remove, defederate, etc. then the tools wouldn’t exist.
Go stand up your own instance where everyone can say whatever they want and learn for yourself how quickly you can become liable for some of the unhinged things people do when given the chance. Enjoy the very interesting and very threatening letters you will get in the mail because you aren’t proactive enough about piracy.
