google translate shows us some thing different

Musaddad narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Arouba, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Abu Harb bin Abi Al-Aswad, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali, - may God be pleased with him - he said: Ask some of the slave girl’s urine and sprinkle with the boy’s urine unless he tastes it.

What throws me off is that Jariyah جارية could either mean a young slave woman/girl or a girl who “has not reached the age”. Ghulam غلام could sometimes we used in the same way. So is it servant/slave boys and girls or children? 😬

Edit: BTW check out Hadith 336 from Ibi Dawood: https://sunnah.com/abudawud:376

Yeah, I guess they meant children and you understood the Hadith correctly. Girl piss = bad. Boy piss = No biggy.

Could be related to the relative clonesness of the female urinary track to the vagina? 😬

clearly women empowerment but then why does he say that all sorts of urine are equal (if it wasn’t added later?)

That part is a mystery to me 🤣 really not sure why it adds that statement that contradicts both Hadiths in the end.
