    No, should have played yesterday. The Australian Broadcasting network shouldn’t take sides in political issues

      I thought they made the decision to hold it on the last Saturday of January precisely to avoid taking “sides”. I don’t really want to argue, this is just my observation.

        I think it is taking sides because it’s already a government sanctioned national holiday. So the moment they move off of it, they’re taking a side.

        Doing nothing and not mentioning it is not taking a side.

      Triple j has always taken sides in political issues.

      Same with the larger ABC media corp, they tend to favor whoever is in power, because at the end of the day their funding is dependent on the current government. Sure there are some programs that go against, but normally much smaller and with minimal funding
