#RelationshipGoals
Oh man, this has been a long time coming. The build up to it with the judo tournament and the art cram school has been great. I think it is great that Senpai just went ahead with it despite not fulfilling all his arbitrary requirements about winning that bet with his art. I also think it shows a lot of growth on his part, that even though Nagatoro was joking around while he was starting, he didn’t let it derail him, took it in stride, and said what he wanted to say. In the past, he was so quick to let Nagatoro completely control the flow of the conversation.
I pray that this series is going to keep going. I think there is a lot of story yet to tell and I would hate to see it end soon. Though, it has been going for, checks notes, 7 years! now. So, I wouldn’t blame nanashi for wanting to move on at this point, but man if this wasn’t a satisfying confession.
The thing that most impressed me is that it was such a satisfying surprise. It was so obvious that it had to happen sometime that there was a risk that it was going to be anticlimactic when it finally did, but instead, things came together right there on the spot and it just happened smoothly and naturally. So smoothly and naturally in fact that my first reaction was, “Wait… what? Did I read that right? Did he actually just say that?”
Definite kudos to Nanashi.
They didn’t fuck it up!
We even got some bullying at the end!
That was… awesome.
It happened! I knew I could trust in Nanashi! Now please give us at least 20 chapters of them just doing couple things together, don’t end it after a confession like so many romcoms tend to do.
It was clear from the beginning that this was going to happen. And it happened well. Nice.
I was there, two hundred years ago. FINALLY!
