I’m on the discord as well, but I feel like most channels just move too fast for me. Like I step away for an hour and there’s already 300 unread messages and I have no idea what’s going on anymore. I can’t just drop a shit take there and expect people to actually react to it before it gets buried.
yeah, the discord’s very different. more of a flow of conversation that leads wherever and might just completely pass over something at random
the secondary general chats are usually slower, but not always. sometimes you just have to bring something up again later if no one talked about it the first time
might get more people over here if something else happens with reddit again
or maybe it’ll mostly be moving to the discord again, idk
