Thank you, Augie. This needed to be said. I’ve often wondered why we glamorize military people and give them all kinds of regard, but we don’t give a shit about the people who really do the work behind the scenes, we don’t think about the health professionals who toil long hours or the even lesser seen people in healthcare billing who (believe me) toil tirelessly to make sure our insurances pay what they should and all the teachers and assistants who put in huge long hours.
There are more kinds of heroes out there than just military ones, or political ones. People who never get noticed but deserve to be.
