What? I actively encourage that behavior. If a teammate has an open slot, by all means take my stuff.

The shield backpack has a crazy long 8 minute cool down. If you get sniped by a bot soon after calling it and someone takes it, you’ve gotta wait a long long time to call in another.

If the guy who stole my shield completes the primary objective, I don’t care. Eye on the prize.

For real. I don’t care if someone nabs my autocannon so long as it’s in service spilling oil and blood. Better use for it than sitting on the ground waiting for me to drop.

Fair enough. It really depends on the difficulty you’re playing on and what you’re trying to accomplish as a group. I’d say more communication in the group is always better. If you’re taking someone’s stuff, get permission or say something in comms. That way everyone is on the same page and everyone is having fun.

    It’s down to the situation.

Are you about to die and being chased by the licking flames of hell? Pick up whatever you need.

Yeah if stuff is chaotic, I get it. Just drop it for your teammate when they’re back or say something in voice comms letting them know you’ll drop it once you get a breather.

As certified looter, I pick up anything I can and drop them so they don’t have to wait for cool downs. As I personally don’t use packs or support weapons that much.

…don’t use packs or support weapons?

What’s your loadout? Are you like a darksauls grenade and eagle only build?

usually, it depends on the mission. For bugs my usual loadout is : strike, cluster, 120 or 380 or both, rocket pod, orbital laser or mech. (support weapon will depending on if anyone takes for the mission, ie grenade launcher for bug holes/blits, if we need more AT then I pick EAT.) for bots it’s: strike, 120 and 380, then orbital laser or support weapon depending on the mission type. (40 mins then I pick auto cannon most likely if no one pick, blitz/eradication I just pick ems mortar. )

For majority of missions even if you don’t pick a support weapon, you can get it around the minor POIs and just use them. I pick support only if it helps speed up the mission, not to get extra kills.

Take it. Use it. Get me back in the game. Once everything has settled we can sort it. Ideally I’ll have another off cooldown soon anyway.

If you’re not using it I will. I’ll give it back later if you want.

I did feel bad when I ran out of MG rounds so I grabbed the MG from a fallen teammates, then he picked up my totally empty one.

Resupply was quicker than cooldown though.
