Search “beginner Russian comprehensible input” and find something that suits you. Tons of free and cheap resources
You can use duolingo with blokada 5 to avoid ads.
You need to sideload blokada 5 after downloading it straight from their website, though.
Don’t even bother if you don’t need it, don’t. These are two of the hardest languages to learn and there is no actual return of investment.
I think watching YouTube videos would however help at first.

I mean needing it for work or because of moving.
Languages like English (as a second language) are usually learned because they enable you to connect more, its however no necessary thing where you live. English opens up about half the internet for you, Spanish another 30% (not actual numbers) and they aren’t hard to learn.
Russian however is not spoken outside of Russia and many Russians (especially Internet Russians do speak English)

English is a Low investment high return language
Russian is very high investment low return.
I get that. But my point is people learn a language because they need it or because it’s a hobby. In either case the difficulty is irrelevant.
I also never understood the idea of learning languages based on the number of speakers. You’re not going to talk to millions of people. And you will find enough people that don’t speak English anyways.

People who can translate between English and Russian have more opportunities because their in such few numbers.
People who can translate between Spanish and English are a dime a dozen, which is why most people who speak both languages end up working service jobs.

There is no “hardest” language.
It all depends on a lot of stuff but one very important part is what language you already speak.
Learning Germanic languages like Icelandic is easier if you speak a Germanic language like English and especially one of the Nordic languages.
Learning languages that are not related to your own language is usually harder.
I said two of the hardest, not the hardest.
Russian and Ukrainian are not two of the hardest languages to learn.
