So this is too political, but Ukrainian singer with a song about Crimean Tatars is fine. Mhhhm.
I personally, while I agree with the message of the song, get why Eurovision made the decision. Songs must be non-political, and non-political in the sense that they shouldn’t be made for certain politicians or ideologies. But still I wish this song would’ve been performed at Eurovision, even if all the European libs would boo it.
The problem lies in the fact that this “non-political” rule is applied incredibly asymmetrically.
