Everyone remember that Tesla truck project?

No, not Cybertruck (lol). The other one, the older one. TeslaSemi, the one that was supposed to revolutionize logistics?

Do they work? I thought EV semi-trucks were basically too heavy to be practical.

Pepsi has been shown to be effectively using these electric Semis by moving Frito-Lays potato chips / lightweight goods around.

So I think Pepsi did prove a useful, albeit small, niche here.

That’s one smart way around the weight problem. Move stuff with very little weight / made up of mostly popped air.

Imagine how many bags of chips could fit in the Tesla semi if they didn’t only fill the truck 60%? Oh well, they have a practice and have to stick to it.

Apparently they do. Tesla is using a fleet of them to transport between thier factories.
