The tl;dr: WWE has 3 rosters. Raw, SmackDown, and NXT (NXT is and has historically been the development brand but they are reportedly giving it the ‘upgrade’ finally). With a few exceptions (usually for special wrestlers), each show has their own roster that doesn’t show up on other shows.
This ‘draft’ is the in-storyline selection (by the shows respective GM’s) of the wrestlers they want on their show, so we’ll see Adam Pierce & Nick Aldis picking one by one who will be on each show (or at least some of em, a bunch will be announced after the shows).
