!capybara@lemmy.world is for you, then.
very cute little fellas
Cute yes, little, not so much. Aren’t they the world’s largest rodent?
Yes.
Do we need a c/crittersoncapybaras?
Yes please!
We should all be more like capybaras, the most chill of all animals ❤️
My favorite thing about them is that when dumbass pelicans try to eat them they just don’t react cause they know they’re too big. They just let the pelicans try until they give up. In a world full of evolutionary arms races between predators and prey, that’s some funny shit.
The young capy reacted. He relaxed and enjoyed the rubbly bubblies.
“Lower. Yeah, right there…”

I’m reminded of the pelican that tried to eat a capybara. And since the capybara was twice the pelican’s size and eight times his weight, not a lot of progress was made.
What is actually happening in this picture? Why are all of those animals resting together?
Because it’s cold and the CApy is warm.
Makes sense. Thank
Hey you guys, let’s go to the bar. Which one? The Capy Bar(as).
Happy Cappy!
Its more to do with their brain being the size of a pea. They dont really have the capacity compared to say, a dog, to form that sort of relationship. 🤷♂️
