So. You’ve got everyone scared of the evils of socialism because of the red scare and the cold war, and so nobody too far left is ever electable. Got it.
Why aren’t people afraid of going too far right (ie the Nazi party was the probably the furthest right party ever elected). I don’t see how you could be any less afraid of that outcome?
Isn’t the only sane view to steer clear of either extreme? Why is it that the dirty socialism word is so much more terrifying than fascism?
