We know some great sausages in Denmark that a really delicious and crusty cook or better roasted on a fire. What brand of sausages can convince us from Swedish cuisine? Thanks a lot…

Swedish sausages arent really made for bbq. If you like Chorizo i would go for “Garant bbq chorizo”. Lidl has some nice bratwurst that are good for bbq. If you can find 'färsk korv" they are usually better than anything else. Everything made by Scan will probably disapoint.

In smaller stores you can find local ‘craft’ sausages sometimes. We are maybe starting to get some decent sausages in Sweden.

Tailor and Jones sell premium sausages that are really good and will give a good crust.

They used to have a store in Hötorgshallen but I think they’ve moved.

For grilling I’m quite Happy with Gudruns Stockholmare. They seem to take the heat well and have a very satisfying crunch when you bite into them.

If you’re in Malmö go check with Korvhuset, they have a great selection.

Falukorv is actually really good to cook on a fire, cut it up in smaller pieces first.

    I am serious.

Stens grill isterbands, they are lovely. You can grills a falukorv too, sliced Parisare and eat them as burger and frukostkorv is lovely too.

Any sausage goes , just avoid wienerkorv, grynkorv and köttkorv, they are ment for boiling.

Tjurskallen is a family operated meat business and they make some great sausages with deer, beef and wild boar amongst others.

A few times i’ve bought sausage in tunnbröd from tjurskallen where the sausages had been grilled so the skin was crisp. Best sausage was the beef chorizo I think.

Give them a try if you see them at a local market.
