Netanyahu reportedly met this month with three foreign policy envoys working with former president and current presidential candidate Donald Trump ā€” who could yet win the election despite being convicted Thursday on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in his New York state hush money case.

Netanyahu, who benefited immensely from Trumpā€™s first term, is arguably hoping for a similar dividend in the event of a second. In the interim, he has openly rejected the Biden administrationā€™s hopes for the Palestinian Authority to take the lead in the postwar administration of Gaza, and he and his allies have shown no interest in even engaging in the White House on reviving pathways for a Palestinian state. And contrary to the Biden administrationā€™s wishes, Netanyahu may soon act on a Republican invitation to address a joint session of Congress.

Itā€™s not just Netanyahu who is waiting for Trump. The evidence is more clear that Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding out for a Trump victory, which would probably help the Kremlin consolidate its illegal conquests of Ukrainian territory. My colleagues reported last month that Trump and his inner circle have outlined the terms of a potential settlement between Moscow and Kyiv that they would attempt to usher in if in power. ā€œTrumpā€™s proposal consists of pushing Ukraine to cede Crimea and the Donbas border region to Russia, according to people who discussed it with Trump or his advisers and spoke on the condition of anonymity because those conversations were confidential,ā€ they reported.

Such a move would fracture the transatlantic coalition built up in support of Ukraineā€™s resistance to Russian invasion. It would cement the Republican turn away from Europeā€™s security at a time when Western resolve around Ukraine is flagging. And it would be yet another sign of Trumpā€™s conspicuous affection the strongman in the Kremlin.

This is Middle East we are talking about. I honestly doubt that they care about war crimes when they participate in them themselves.

Im yet to see any evidence that the whole of the Middle East hates Jews.

The same in that not all Israelis hate Palestinians, after all there are quite large protests in Israel in solidarity with Palestine.

Itā€™s the easiest explanation. The expulsion of jewish people in the past. The observation that Islamic states endorse war crimes. Which means yes, the surrounding nations do hate ā€œthe joosā€ irrespective of whether Israel committed war crimes (which a good case can be made with hostages shooting and WCK bombings, etc.).

The expulsion of Jewish people in the past?

What about the expulsion of Palestinian people over the last several decades to this very day?

Israel is actively engaging in war crimes right now. There isnā€™t a case for it. Itā€™s online for the whole world to see.

Lebanon are fighting the good fight right now.

How do you war crimes? How come when an Islamic country defends itself itā€™s not allowed but for western countries, sure thatā€™s different. Iraq, Afghanistan, Loas, Vietnam, the list if endless.

Why are leading Jewish scholars against Zionism, why are they against the actions of the Israeli state. Why is Ireland, and many other counties starting to turn on Israel. Itā€™s because they are the bad guys.

As for any terrorism. If you come and wipe out my whole family for no reason, then Iā€™m going to come and try to murder you too. Fuck anybody that will still 8 months later try and defend Israel. Fuck the US, fuck my own (UK) government and fuck you for supporting the murdering of innocent people at an unprecedented level.

The expulsion of Jewish people in the past?

            Morocco 1948: 265,000 Morocco 2007: 2,000

            Algeria 1948: 140,000 Algeria 2007: est. 50

            Tunisia 1948: 105,000 Tunisia 2007: 1,700

            Libya 1948: 38,000 Libya 2007: 0

            Egypt 1948: 75,000 Egypt 2007: 20

            Lebanon 1948: 24,000 Lebanon 2007: 100

            Syria 1948: 30,000 Syria 2007: 100

            Iraq 1948: 150,000 Iraq 2007: 10

Could go on, but there is definitely expulsion of Jewish people in the past. Which is pretty strong evidence Middle East hates Jewish people.

What about the expulsion of Palestinian people over the last several decades to this very day?

Two wrongs donā€™t make a correct.

There isnā€™t a case for it.

Guess you miss good case. Iā€™m actually on the side that yes, they did committed major war crimes.

Lebanon are fighting the good fight right now.

First of all, Hezbollah isnā€™t even supported there. Second of all, Hezbollah isnā€™t exactly what you should be endorsing.

            How do you war crimes?

Stupid question. But, we see things like children under strapped vest with a bomb under it. We see rapes being used as a tools. Thatā€™s the modus operandi of the Middle East of the whole.

As for any terrorism. If you come and wipe out my whole family for no reason, then Iā€™m going to come and try to murder you too.

Thatā€™s pretty much how the Middle East operates. Even without Jewish people, theyā€™re still going to come at each other throats.

So, with that being said, no, Middle East donā€™t care about Israelsā€™ war crimes. Theyā€™re proud of those things. They simply hate Israel because of well, theyā€™re Jewish.

Why are you defending Middle East? I should have to ask that question.
