A new textile—made of plastic and silver nanowires—does just that, and can keep its wearers as much as 16 degrees cooler than other fabrics.
Yea, that’s a no for me. I’m doing my best to no longer use synthetic materials in my clothing.
Yeah, that’s definitely reasonable. The world doesn’t need more plastic, especially if a fast-fashion company wants to utilize this.

It claims to reflect radiating heat from the sun and blacktop in a way bare skin doesn’t. The same principal as wearing white, billowy clothing in deserts rather than just being naked.
