    This seems to amount to: “My dad could support a family of 5 and own a home with no college education or trade skills while my mom stayed home but they had it harder because cell phones didn’t exist.”

    Having a kid used to be easy because few people had the emotional capacity to evaluate their success as parents. Or deal with the fallout.

    Yeah it’s certainly easy to blame skipping parenthood on global warming, but near with me for a second, the option of just accidentally having three kids by 25 wasn’t really a stellar choice for anyone either.
