Roger Faber says the three dead fishers were among those lured out by blue fin tuna and a supposed weather window.

Three bodies believed to be those of the missing fishers have been found on the shore at Māhia this morning.

Police said formal identification was under way but the bodies were believed to be of the fishers who were reported missing on Monday.

    This is a real shame, it sounds like they may have survived in the water for a very long time too, if they were alive when the bulk carrier was in the area.
