An interesting monster concept.
So I’ve been picturing a monster in my head for a few years now, I called it a “Champing Maw.”
It’s basically a humanoid slug, think Slimer from Ghostbusters, but bigger on the bottom so he drags along, has human skin and arms, and a giant human mouth with huge teeth that constantly snap and bite. It has long silvery spines on its back that it uses to “hear” or sense vibrations in the air to hunt down its prey. Its mouth is the only orifice it has, so it’s just constantly eating and regurgitating.
I honestly have no idea where I came up with this thing, but I’m kinda proud of it lol.

In my mind it’s definitely way more humanoid. Straight up human arms and mouth, and no eyes whatsoever. It only “hears” and tastes, no other senses.
Think a giant human mouth that is the entirety of the face. Kinda like an embodiment of gluttony.
