Hi there! I’m finishing my vocational degree in Finland and planning on continuing my studies in uni. For the record, in the future I’m planning on getting a Finnish citizenship and would love to get it as soon as I possibly can :)

I was wondering if it’s better or even possible to get a type A residence permit (work) while studying in uni at the same time? Or am I only limited to type B until I finish my studies completely?

I would need only 1.5-2.5 years of having a type A residence permit to get a Finnish passport as I’ve been in Finland for the past 5 years, as opposed to 4-7 additional years of having a type B + later on A permits.
