I’m 23y.o Spanish dude and I have spent a sum of 4 months in Finland in the last two years. Even tho I’ve never been able to make any long lasting Finnish friendship I still love so much visiting there and enjoy the silent streets, going for walks listening to ambiental or ethereal music near the closest woods or lakes, the sound of the wind hitting my headphones and sneaking in the music, the extremely quiet activity outside except for the sound of birds and trees dancing… in my walks I always felt like I was experiencing the most pure ‘touching grass’ experience. Some of you Finns might be too used to it and some others might even find it boring the fact everything is generally so quiet but for me it feels like Finland has everything we lack of in Spain and I’m sure it’s the opposite with Spain for you guys too

I miss Finland so much <3 I think about it almost everyday. I miss feeling in a cheesy dream surrounded of pretty big trees and abusive mosquitoes, the super thick snow falling on my head <3 the shiny look of everything in the winter and the permanent light in the summer. It’s magic to me and I love it

Just wanted to express those cheesy thoughts I’m having right now <3 can’t wait any single minute more to be there once again, hopefully making a consistent finnish friend next time :)
