For me it’s post-soviet one, because I live in CIS country. You probably heard about toxic Dota 2 and CS:GO players from Russia and Ukraine. It’s just a tip of iceberg. Oh my god, I spended much time on russian gaming forums and I’m higly dissapointed. It’s just a circlejerk full of late 90s and early 2000s PC gaming fanboys who who hate any new games except indies. I think this is because getting games and good PCs and consile is hard thing here, and many gamers in this region. Seriously, if you say something bad about “cult golden classics” like Gothic or first Baldur’s Gate you’re gonna be roasted as hell. Itvs just degraded. Mostly contains of toxic millenials. Zoomers in post-soviet region are not interested in gaming. Instead, they prefer anime and of all games they prefer Genshin Impact and Minecraft.
