I’ve now spent a pretty penny on watercooling (upgrading from Meshlicious to Meshroom S so I could fit a 140+240mm radiator + D5 pump running at 100%), and my Intel i7-12700K and NVIDIA 3080 Ti FE both still hit over 70°C running Horizon Zero Dawn in 4K at High (not Ultra) settings. The only other thing I can think of is to switch to an AMD 7800X3D since that generates less heat, but since I’m guessing that won’t create miracles by itself, my only other option is an external radiator.
I live in an apartment, and my case is next to my TV (which is why I choose Meshroom). Either the radiator will have to be behind the TV (and thus two feet above the case) or it has to be in a case that I can put next to my Meshroom S.
Does anyone have any recommendations on external radiator cases? My two biggest requirements are that it has to look decent in my living room and it has to be quiet. If you have a preference, please list any other parts I’ll need. I’d also appreciate any tips on drilling holes into my Meshroom case (if required).
Thanks again to the watercooling community for all its amazing help so far.
