I am an international student in a student town in Norway so I do not know much about the rules or customs here in Norway and I feel like I was taken advatange of a little so need a little advice.

Context: In June, while I was going shopping in a nearby grocery chain, there were two young people who were standing outside the store and talking to some elderly people. When I got near them, one of them basically started talking to me and asked me some normal things and then proceeded to ask me about my mobile service. I was unaware, at first that he was a mobile salesperson, but since I was considering switching to a different phone service, I listened to him. The person, spoke really fast but basically told me they would offer ulimited phone and sms and decent mobile data for 99Kr per month. I thought it was a good deal, so I agreed to it and I have been using the sim for the past 2 since then.

Yesterday I received the first invoice, which they said would cover two months, the first month and the month after that. This is fine, but I was surprised to see that instead of the 198Kr I was expecting, the bill was for 258Kr. I did not understand all the details because the invoice was quite confusing so I contacted their customer support, who now tell me, the deal was actually 99Kr for the first month and afterwards it was 159Kr per month. I had clearly asked the salesperson when I got the sim card if it was 99Kr per month multiple times and he had said it was so, which is why i agreed to take the service, so today I felt quite cheated but I don’t know what to do and if this was my fault for not asking correctly since they did not really give me any contract or any such thing.

I know it isn’t really that significant charged amount, but just this strange way of hiding the real price or misleading felt very strange to me. I wonder if this is a common occurence, or was I just careless here? I somehow also feel like I was taken advantage of because they knew I was an international student since I was communicating in English. Also, how should one proceed in this case?
