On a job where time is of the essence and we are starting to find a few dead shorts between A phase and Neutral - likely a nail in framing on SER runs.

Wanted to pick the minds of people of r/electricians if such a tool exists. I know I can isolate the cabling, use a constant current power supply and measure voltage across the cabling to get a rough guesstimate, but was wondering if there is such a tool that can be used to determine length to dead shorts on cabling?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, though I have a feeling I’ll soon be ripping down sheetrock and siding to locate the ahort.
