So, this is a term most of us Irish are familiar with. My mam has been an avid drinker for as long as i can remember, i have tried time and time again to try convince her to go to rehab. But due to other underlying mental issues (unresolved past trauma) she is aggressive and delusional.

I cant find any visable options, So im just looking for ways you’ve helped a family member not entirely willing to help themselves. My dad, my brothers and I are just lost and dont know where to turn. Just looking for information really
