Hey, so some wonderful neighbours have decided to cut down a few mature trees and clear out an entire hedgerow and ditch on the land to the side of their house. This land is at the back of my house and after having a polite word with them they still seem to think they’ll be getting the council to fell/top a number of trees on my boundry aswell.

I was nice and calm but to be honest was in a total rage watching the size of the trees, in full leaf, during nesting season that they’ve chopped down for no apparent reason. They made up some story about them being a storm risk (they’re not and they’re deciduous anyway) even though they’re nowhere near their own house.

Who can I report this to and how can I prevent them from either chopping the trees on my boundry themselves or hiring someone?

TIA
