I went to go look at boxes today and from what I can tell, the husky boxes I looked at seemed to better quality than the USG boxes. The boxes I looked at where a 46”x24” Husky and a 44”x22” USG. The USG seemed more flimsy and less heavy duty compared to the Husky. Just opening and shutting the drawers on the Husky felt smoother and more weighted (if that makes sense) and the soft close feature is also nice. Opening and shutting the drawers on the USG felt flimsy, light and tinny.
However, after all the research and YouTube videos I’ve seen, everyone swears that USG’s are the superior box. Am I missing something? Is there something else I should be looking for when comparing the two?
