I have a slightly larger than 1 car garage that I use as my workshop and currently own the dewalt 12" dual bevel sliding compound miter saw (model DWS780) that I am considering swapping to a Rigid R4251 or Bosch GCM12SD mostly because the rails on the Dewalt force me to set the saw further away from the wall and it isn’t flush to the other work benches inline in my garage.

I’m leaning more towards the rigid as the specs sheets indicate a larger vertical height cut, longer crosscut, and slightly better specs in many other areas.

I do not have any brand loyalty, I prefer to chose tools for my needs as a home DIYer. I own Bosch 18v, Milwaukee m12, & corded angle grinder. Rigid circular saw & palm nailer, Ego mower, blower & trimmer amongst other various hand tools from wera, channel locks, and harbor freight.

Anybody have experience with this Rigid Miter Saw?
