I’ve had a Samsung S10 & an S22U, but I’ve never had great photos from them. They’re not bad, but I’ve never had amazing photos. Same with my Huawei P20.

I had better photos on my iPhone, and I switched from Huawei to Samsung bc I got the Samsung Galaxy watch.

I’ve never gone any further than the auto etc not dug into the settings.

My S22U even freezes stuck on and I can’t do anything about it.

I like taking photos on my phone as I don’t have my Nikon with me all the time.

I’m possibly considering going back to iPhone just bc the camera quality and ease of use is superior. I feel duped by all these comparison vdeos tbh.

Anyone else, or is it just me not knowing how to use the camera properly?

Edit: it’s not bad per se, it just feels more like ‘fine but not amazing given specs/features/YouTube reviewers’ etc and the iPhone felt a bit more fine (and the photo quality seems to be better/photos look better on my family’s iPhones of varying models) and I found the camera app more intuitive.

Could be a defective unit/chip issue too; have had a lot of other issues with this phone including the keyboard freezing and either writing partially unintelligible sentences or deleting half a sentence when the delete key gets stuck, and freezing stuck on where the screen is inaccessible and I can’t do anything (even turn the phone off) til it resolves itself (seems to happen when I use the phone when it’s like 1-2% and charging) which has happened twice in 9 days
