We run a food stand at a local fair and will be taking credit cards for the first time this year (I know I know lol). Have a hard-line through the fair’s vendor but all our devices are iPads and Square mobile terminals( approx 6-10) so need wireless as well. Looking for options as to what we should pick up.
I haven’t seen it yet but based on past years I believe we’ll have to run an Ethernet cable from their modem, out of a protected junction box and into our back of house tent, which is where we’d want to mount the AP. Doesn’t need to cover a big area, maybe 1000ish sqft max. I have an older Nitehawk from my house I was going to repurpose for this but wondering if there’s a better option that’s weather resistant and most importantly, less temperature sensitive. Ideally something fairly plug and play as I’m not always available to be on-site to troubleshoot.
