  1. Fly to Denver from home town
  2. Overnight stay in Denver
  3. Zeyphr train (Denver to San Francisco)
  4. Overnight stay in San Franscisco
  5. Fly from San Francisco to LA
  6. Hop on Starlight (LA to Seattle)
  7. Overnight stay in Seattle
  8. Fly from Seattle to Anchorage

(heres where things get rocky)

  1. Anchorage to Seward (want to see Kenai Fjords)
  2. Seward back to Anchorage
  3. Anchorage train to Fairbanks (Denali Star)
  4. From Fairbanks fly back to home town

This transportation comes to about $3400 for 2 adults, but most of the trip is to sight see & experience different environments (I’m in Texas 🌵).

Guessing it would total around $5000?

This will be a once in a lifetime trip, but I’m not sure if it’s too much in one go? I really want to see them all lol

(Planning Mexico for 2 under $1500 next so I felt the difference in scenery would be nice)

Is there anything else that would top the best train sights in the US & a trip to Alaska for the price?
